I’m Alisyn Benkowski, a licensed acupuncturist with a Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine and a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Kinesiology. My work is rooted in an integrative approach, weaving together acupuncture, herbal medicine, nutrition, sound healing and movement-based therapies to support the body’s innate wisdom and capacity to heal.

My own healing journey began after breaking my back as a gymnast. That experience led me to yoga, where I found profound physical and emotional transformation. From there, I was guided into sound healing and eventually Chinese medicine. Through this path, I’ve come to believe that while movement restores the body, deeper healing unfolds when we also support the nervous system and nourish the spirit.

As a mother of two daughters, my personal experiences have deeply shaped my work. After the home birth of my second daughter, I experienced a profound level of healing that further expanded my understanding of the body’s capacity to restore and transform when supported in a safe, nourished environment.

I hold a special place in my practice for supporting women through fertility, pregnancy, and the many transitions of womanhood. Outside of the clinic, I find deep nourishment in farming, ancestral living, and time spent outdoors.

It is truly an honor to walk alongside you as you reconnect with your own inner light.
