Yoga

Yin/ Restorative

This style of yoga involves a series of poses that are mostly seated and supine. Each pose is typically held 3-5 minutes, allowing you to access the deep tissue in the body to expand your flexibility. While focusing on breath and static movement, this style of yoga is great to reduce stress in the body and mind. Holding poses without distraction for several minutes teaches us to relax as we release engrained tension in our muscles.

Slow Flow

Slow flow is a vinyasa style that creates mindful sequence allowing the student time to evaluate how and when a pose should be modified. This class is meant to progress through a variety of poses helping to find space while retaining a gentle rhythm.

Yin/Yang

The first half of this class starts with vinyasa to warm the body. Vinyasa is the seamless transitions between poses while being mindful of the breath. The second half transitions into yin which is a series of poses that are mostly seated and supine. The poses typically being held longer allows you to access the deep tissue in the body to expand your flexibility.

Slow Flow & Sound

Slow flow & sound focuses on slow progressive mindful movement in a vinyasa style. It is open to all levels and explores different variations of asanas. This class will end with a 10-15 minute extended sound healing savasana to experience a whole body relaxation.

Yin & Sound

Yin & sound is a floor based class that has a mix of restorative and yin yoga. This style of yoga consists of a series of long-held, passive floor poses that mainly work deep into the muscle and connective tissue. This class is open to all levels and will end with an extended sound healing savasana.

Moon Circles

Our lives are always ebbing and flowing, just like the phases of the moon. By setting intentions according to each cycle of the moon, our lives find purpose to become more in-tune. The moon shows us that change is nothing to be afraid of, but instead embrace it.

The new moon is all about beginning again and is a time for a fresh start to regain your inner strength. The full moon is a time for nourishing and reflecting what the cycle has brought into your life.

My workshops will incorporate many different moon rituals, therapeutic instruments, yoga, and meditation. When we work with the moon and come together as a community we can harness our intentions on a deeper level.
